most meetings end around 5pm
gates open 8am
entrance: £10 for Adults
£5 for 10-14 year olds, OAP, Students (must have up to date student card), Disabled must be displaying a disabled badge on car. Under 10's are free. |

what is oval race club? | |
oval race club is a concrete 1/4 mile banked oval race track for cars of all types. cars range from 'prod stox' - basic road cars with added safety equipment, through our production racing cars ranging from minis to 'hot rods'.

oval race club is based just off the A280 between worthing and angmering. take the A280 from the A27, take the right turn towards angmering village then turn immediately right again into the lane - it's well signposted.

ANGMERING MOTOR SPORTS CENTRE IS NOW OPEN FOR GO KART ADULT SESSIONS/CORPORATE EVENTS: AGE FROM 18. FROM GROUPS OF SIX UPWARDS TO 24 AT ANY ONE TIME. GO KART TRAINING SATURDAY MORNINGS FROM 9 AM TO 12 PM FOR AGES FROM 8 TO 12 & 12 TO 16 MINIMUM OF 3 LESSONS COST PER LESSON £20.

Classes raced at the Oval
Junior Rods (Minis etc 1000cc)age 10 to 16. Junior Prods any car up to 1200cc no injection. Age 12 to 16.
A Prod up to 1000cc push rod
B Prod up to 1300cc FWD
Mod C 1300cc RWD or 1400cc FWD incorporating Stock Rods
1600 FWD
Prod Stox up to 1450cc
Saloon Rods 1600cc and over
Nudge & Spin any 2 wheel drive Saloon, Hatchback or Estate car up to 1600cc
Street Stocks British or European specification right-hand drive Ford Sierra, hatchback or Sapphire, rear wheel drive only

Oval Race Club is now racing with STAR however the only changes to our classes are street stocks and a new Junior class Junior Prods. there is also some changes to Mod C's.
We are pleased to announce that Planning permission for 2007 has been granted for 10 extra Motor Race meetings see diary for details. Our Season's Championship for 2007 will run from March to end of October. The winter league will run from January to end February, November to December.
